The concept:
EX ON THE BEACH has a tradition to be settled in a paradisiac beach and this was not different, Located at PRAIA DA PIPA , Rio grande do Norte, the location chose was mansion with a espetacular view, but it had a strict palette of white, black and red. The challenge here was how to transform the interiors in a “House of dreams” to the participants, being cozy, colorful, inviting to make connections and also visually attractive for the audience.
The other difficult was that the house was situated in a very remote place, far from any centre and everything, from furniture to materials, and the manpower, has to come from São Paulo. Was a a job that required a lot of organization and time management to be done, nothing could go wrong or we would have a lot of problems.
Besides the house, the main set, we also had the welcome drinks bar, the place where the participants were presented; the set where the Exes arrived, and many others situations as : weekly tematic parties and dates in other spots that also would ha tod be dressed.
Talking about style, I sticked to a mix of bright colours and patterns, bringing navy and tropical elements, using the nature as inspiration.
The Project:
The Welcome Drinks Bar
An abandoned shack was the base for this rustic surf bar. We added a handmade bamboo structure made by the local community, to the able to shoot them in the sun.

The kitchen received some warm colours and patterns to make it cozy.
Terrace / Pool:

Tropical pattern, shades of blue, gold and natural materials to a special date.
Bedrooms :
The four bedrooms-bathrooms had the same layout composition, but each one had an exclusive colour palette making it attractive and unique. Patterns and stencils were applied on the walls to m it for the cinematography.
