To recreate the Brazilian version of First Dates, we used a large events venue where we could use the wooden floor and the big glass window on one side.

To accommodate the 26 hidden TV cameras, all the rest was built from scratch, designed to achieve the high standards of an International TV show and to attend to all the dynamics needed: Entrance/ reception, Bar for waiting drinks, Restaurant floor, kitchen, lounge and the Washroom/ private space.

The palette came from the Show’s logo : light wood and shades of red, and I added some concrete and greys to balance it.

The design was modern and light but warm and romantic. We wanted a special place where people would feel comfortable, relaxed, and inspired to engage in a romantic situation. All details, from props to graphics, drinks, and menu, were chosen with this in mind.
